Full-Stack Developer · Army National Guard
Building modern web applications and fitness tools for hybrid athletes. IT background, Army-trained, full-stack developer.
About Me
I'm a U.S. Army National Guard 25B (IT Specialist) based in Nashville, TN, transitioning into full-stack development.
Outside of code, I train as a hybrid athlete — combining powerlifting, calisthenics, and running, and am building a fitness platform designed specifically for athletes who refuse to specialize in just one discipline.
Technical Skills
Projects
Coffee e-commerce site with a full shopping cart. Cart state managed through Context API and useReducer so any component can read or update it without prop drilling.
IT ticketing API built on two databases. MySQL holds relational ticket and user data; MongoDB stores activity logs and notes where the shape of each entry varies.
REST API with user registration and login. Passwords hashed with bcrypt, sessions handled through JWT, product and order data in MySQL.
CRUD API across five related tables — students, classes, enrollments, grades, and attendance — using multi-table JOINs to return combined records in a single query.
Barbershop site built in vanilla JavaScript with no framework. DOM manipulation, event handling, and dynamic UI interaction written from scratch.
Authentication flow with signup, login, and error states handled by a useReducer state machine rather than scattered useState calls.
